note to self: bring a thicker/warmer sweater/jacket to work.

it's 10am and i'm blogging instead of working. and freezing because it's too cold and i don't how how/where to adjust the thermostat. but anyway, i have nothing to do here. my boss was supposed to show/teach me how to use StreetSaver but for some odd reason he didn't show up for work this morning. so now i'm reading the StreetSaver manual, which i find very dull and lame and i hope i remember at least half it just in case i get a pop quiz on it later. i've been getting a lot of pop quizzes here at work lately.

but on the brighter side of life, i've been doing pretty decent on the pop quizzes. so far i've gotten all questions right except one. the only question i wasn't able to answer was, how long do you have to wait until you repave a street.

pop quizzes aside, this quarter feels very chill. so far. i don't have class thursdays and fridays, so i get to work 16 hours/week. and when i do have to go to class, they all start at noon or later. i only have to wake up early twice a week and that's good. i have more free time now than i did last summer. it's so weird but heck, i'm not going to complain.

homework is pretty chill too. i finished my hydrology homework last night, 4.5 days before it's due. i also finished my reading assignment for wisdom class. so now i only have 181 and concrete to do. i'll do concrete on sunday and 181 on monday. so chill with me between now and saturday. haha.

life can be good, sometimes. minus the things that make me cry.
