four hundred seventy pages in to Breaking Dawn and i'm sick of it. not because i still have ~300 pages of reading to go and i'm starting to get lazy. no, i'm not being lazy. the plot itself is making me sick. i liked the first three books in the Twilight Series because they were cool: beach trips when it's 60 degrees, motorcycles, jumping off cliffs, battling with a crazed vampire in a ballet studio, building a car from scratch, randomly getting on a plane to italy. all the good stuff. all the interesting stuff. and now what am i getting? a wedding, honeymoon in a private island, pregnancy and delivering that baby. where's the fun in that? it's stupid. but at least Jacob's part wasn't half as bad. i had to stop reading a couple of times because i couldn't keep myself from crying. i know it's weird, but i always feel bad for all the good characters. but now i don't really know if i still like him. he just imprinted on a baby, for god's sake! and just in case you didn't know, imprinting is like falling in love but in a creeper way.
anyway, i mailed three letters yesterday. so if you get one sometime this week, please write me back. you don't have to, but you know it's cool thing to do. and i also ran out of stamps so i won't be writing letters until i remember to buy some more stamps.
so i've been experimenting which way is the best to go home. last week i did the 5-to-22-to-knott route and it was okay. i averaged 60 minutes from work to home. this week i'm doing the 405-to-goldenwest route and i'm averaging 55 minutes from work to home. weird because it was 50 minutes yesterday and 60 today. next week i'll probably do the 5-to-ball route. i don't know how that will be because i've never tried that before. i'm also thinking of the 5-to-55-to-22 route, but that'll be a lot of back-tracking so i that probably won't happen.
anyways, i think i'm getting paid sometime this week. and it will be a sweet, sweet time. work isn't really too bad. you just have to keep your eye on the prize, and before you know it, you've put in your week's forty hours. and even if your ass is getting too big for sitting all day, it's cool, you just keep your eye on the prize.
