Happy Second WORK-Sary To Me!!!
-
remember that one time when i said if i hadn't moved out of my parents' house by the time i celebrate my second work-sary, could someone just come and kidnap me and make me pay rent? well, scratch that. please don't kidnap me and make me pay rent. i'm still liking the free rent and homemade dinners. also, Marla Singer is costing me a crap load of cash, so all that moving-out business will have to be put on hold.
-
remember that one time when i said i'd join the Peace Corps if i didn't land a job post-graduation? well, had i gone two years ago, i would've been back (or almost back) by now. i'd come home with very little chance to land a job (the market is still full of shit right now), no money in the bank, no Marla Singer. man, i'm glad that didn't happen.
-
remember that one time when i said i hated my job? i guess that still partially holds up, but i think i'm learning to deal with it. i don't hate it. i'm not complaining. there are times when it gets emotionally and mentally draining, but i'm learning that i should just tough it out because that's just how life is. you wake up, do your eight-to-five daily grind, and at the end of the day, you can live life any way you want it. life can be awesome too after five. you just have to make it awesome.
-
remember that one time when i said my job was fucking with my sleep schedule? well, that's probably not true. i think my non-sleepingness might be due to other things, such as when the dodgers are losing or when i like a boy but the boy doesn't like me or when i'm just being retarded. i'm going to stop blaming work for my inability to lead a normal sleeping life.
-
remember that one time when i said i wanted to quit because i felt that the learning experience was not worth the stress? well, scratch that too. we all have to learn something new everyday because if we don't learn new things, then what's the point in living? we could all just turn into rocks, and the world wouldn't be better off nor worse off. so learning is cool. i like the money that comes with it too.
