i'm twelve days too late, but here's my 2011 Challenges:

• See a movie alone (because i need to learn how to entertain myself even when my friends aren't free to hang out)
  
• Eat at a restaurant alone (because i need to learn how to eat alone and not starve if there's nobody to eat with)
  
• Go to a bar alone and start a conversation with a stranger (because i need to learn how to socialize, get out of my comfort zone and possibly make new friends)
  
• Not hook up with anyone (what i've come to realize is that hooking up almost always leave me unhappy, so by not hooking up, maybe i can avoid making myself unhappy)
  
• Odd-wheel it when opportunity presents itself (so i can stop hating on happy people)
  
• Start a new hobby (so i don't get bored with life and not just sit back and watch life waste away)
  
• Volunteer somewhere (because it's the right thing to do. i already have a place picked out; i just need to sign up and get out there)
  
• Live on only one paycheck for at least six straight months (so i'll know what it's like to live on very little and less comfortably. this will also enable me to pay off Marla Singer sooner and contribute more to my personal emergency fund)
