so i went there to check out what kind of cameras they have. they have nice ones, 10 megapixels for about $350. so i figured i'll just go to target and get the 8 mp one for $100 less.
and so i was walking out, almost past the registers, and this guy who apparently worked there suddenly said, "hi!" all happy and sht. so i said "hi!" back just so i wouldn't look rude or anything. then he said, "u go to uci?" i was like, "yeah." i got so weirded out that i almost ran out of the store.
for about 10 seconds, i was thinking, wow...how weird. how did he know? then i realized i was wearing uci shorts. duh! of course, he'd know. but then again, what was even more weird was that it was the first time someone actually asked me if i went to uci. i've been wearing my uci sweatshirt to costco and some other places besides school, and nobody ever made a uci-related comment to me.
there's really no surprise there cuz i think not a lot of people know there's a uc in irvine. i mean, uci is the only place on earth that sells uci stuff. even finish line sells calstate long beach stuff. but if u go on telling people u go to uci, they go, "uc what????" like you're weird or got a severe head trauma. so uci-related comments/questions are just as rare as me paying attention in class.
so anyways, were the shorts more noticeable than the sweatshirt? haha. maybe. my favorite ME was quick to point that out.
